Jawline Filler & Chin Filler in Ottawa
sagging around the jaw
Why Patients Opt for Jawline and Chin Fillers
In some cases, surgery is the most effective option. There is no more powerful way to address jowls and sagging neck skin than with a facelift.
In patients who are too young for this procedure or for those who are not interested in surgery, jawline and chin filler contouring can be an excellent alternative. When completed by an expert injector, the jawline and chin can be strengthened in minutes leading to dramatic results.

Preparing for your Jawline and Chin Filler appointment
Fillers may be injected with either fine needles or cannulas. Most patients describe the feeling of being injected as a light pinch.
Depending on your treatment plan, your appointment may last between 15 to 30 minutes. It is not uncommon to undergo injectable treatments for other areas at the same time, such as lip filler, cheek filler, or Botox.
Swelling after filler injections is mostly resolved by two days post-procedure, although subtle swelling and bruising may last up to 10 days. There may be discomfort with chewing for the first few days after jaw filler injections.
To prepare for your injectable treatment, our staff will discuss certain medications that need to be avoided. These include certain herbal supplements, blood thinners, or other medications that can lead to bruising.
